Beginners (3 to 5 years old)

Young children who have never been exposed to English before are welcome to join this class. During the first trimester the teacher will not use a book with these children – we believe that the child should be eased into the English language world in a fun and exciting manner. In this class the children learn through singing, drawing, movement and being exposed to realia.

In this class we teach the children how to introduce themselves, tell their age and where they are from. We also introduce the phonics of the alphabet, the numbers, colours, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, weather and animals as well as other simple vocabulary and action words.

In trimester 2 and 3 the children will begin to use books which introduce them to instructions which will be helpful to them in the future when they begin to take exams. Most of this book work is done through listening exercises with guidance from the teachers.

• Duration: 2 hours weekly.
• Number of students: Maximum of 8 students in every class.
• Parent teacher meeting once per year.

• Annual Christmas Concert with performances by the children.
• Annual Summer picnic with performances by the children.
• Price: €55 each month, €159 for 3 months or €450 for a year. €50 for registration. Registration includes level test (where appropriate), class text books and all extra material for one year.
• We offer a 10% discount for the second student in the same family who studies with us, and a 20% discount for the third and subsequent child.
