Day 10 – 15 July 2014
The school was a hive of activity today preparing for the sports day!
Classes went ahead as normal in the morning and afterwards the students had lunch and then made their way across to the gym for an afternoon of action!
There were four teams in total – Black, Red, Blue and Green. Native English Academy were part of the black team. There were several games played, each one following a different sequence of an obstacle course. I took lots of photos so that you can get an idea of the games!
For the final game we were taken outside – it got messy at this point……lots of water!!!
Day 9 – 14 July 2014
Our second week started off well with our new students Mar and Teresita joining the other students to make their way to Mercy College. They did their level test and were put into their appropriate class.
After class the students took a trip with their leader into Dublin castle to visit the Chester Beatty library.
We are all looking forward to the sports day which is being held tomorrow – our team colour is black!!
