In the afternoon we took the bus into town and went to the botanic gardens. The gardens looked beautiful and the girls took the opportunity to take some fabulous photos!

The girls loved the afternoon activities - it must be due to the good weather. Lucia, Paula and Laura chose to play volleyball in the afternoon while Mar and Alex did some jewellery making. Later in the afternoon, the girls played rounders, which is a sport commonly played in Irish schools.

The weather was extremely hot so we were very conscious to drink plenty of fluids.

After dinner the girls got ready for their final disco. This disco was a love letter night where everybody was given a number and then they could write a love letter to another person in secret by writing on their number which was put outside the disco on a big sheet!

We are having a heatwave at the moment!! I can’t believe how lucky we are…...but the girls think it’s always like this in Ireland!!
After class the girls broke up into different groups for activities.

Laura watch a film called the Golden Compass, Paula baked some traditional Irish scones, Lucia really enjoyed playing volleyball and Alex and Mar played rugby.

In the evening we went to Dun Laoghaire for a walk on the pier. We ate ice cream and enjoyed the sun with hundreds of people that had the same idea as us!
