We had a fantastic day today at Waterford Crystal! We left Dublin at 9am and a bus took us on the 2 hour journey down to beautiful Waterford in the south of Ireland.
When we arrived we were met by a very nice tour guide called Jim. He took us into the crystal factory and showed us each different part of the production process. The pieces of crystal were amazing and some of the students got to hold them. At the end of the tour there was a gift shop.......but nobody could afford to buy a gift - it's very expensive crystal!
In the afternoon we had some time to look around the city. The city is small and beautiful but unfortunately the weather was absolutely awful!
