Today we went to see a Gaelic football match in Croke Park. Gaelic football is the most popular sport in Ireland, and is one of Ireland's national sports. Croke Park is the biggest stadium in the country, with a capacity of 82,300.

We met at 1 o' clock and took the bus into town where we were met by thousands of Dublin fans! We walked to the stadium and took our seats behind the goalposts. Dublin were the stronger team and beat Westmeath by 10 points. All of the students were happy to see Dublin winning.

The students had free time in the evening and so they decided to go and play some football back near their host families.
