We set off at 9am for our last excursion. The bus took us south to a small city called Waterford. We visited one of the most famous crystal factories in the world - Waterford Crystal. Here we got to watch the highly skilled workmen blow, shape and carve glass into top quality crystalware and trophies.
The crystal ball that drops in Times Square in New York on New Year’s Eve was made here.
After visiting the factory we had some free time to explore the city of Waterford. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t fantastic so we were limited to exploring indoor areas!
When we returned to Dublin the girls had dinner with their families and afterwards they went bowling with their friends.
