This morning we started off with class as usual. Some of the students' friends had left at the weekend so it was a little different today. At the moment they are hanging out with some Italian and German students.

After lunch we had sports and activities. The zumba class was popular, while others played ping pong or watched the film Narnia.

It was an early night for everybody today after our busy weekend.

The morning started off with a stroll in picturesque Malahide village which is by the coast in north Dublin.

After lunch we took the dart out to Bray, a small town to the south of Dublin, to watch the air show. There were 80,000 people there to watch the show. The students sat on the pebble beach to watch the aircraft. Some of the stunts were amazing!

The students had a very busy day today. We met at 9am and went by bus to Powerscourt House and Gardens in Co.Wicklow which is just south of Dublin. We spent about an hour here walking around the beautiful gardens and taking photos.

Afterwards we took the bus to Glendalough which is a very popular area for walking and hiking. We walked in the forest and up to a beautiful lake. We also looked at historic monastery ruins.

In the afternoon we went to Wicklow town to visit Wicklow jail. We took a very interesting tour around the prison with a frightening tour guide.

All of the students were happy to get back on the bus and relax all the way to Dublin.

Day 13 – July 17th, 2015
